New for 2026 an exclusive opportunity to network directly with business partners in a mini expo just for board members! This event will consist of a one-hour educational session on Financials. Your questions on how financials are prepared, how best to read them, how to plan for your budget and reserves will help you make more informed decisions regarding your association. There will also be the chance to meet with and talk to industry professionals, during a special cocktail reception where you can mingle together and make meaningful connections. This event is free for board members to attend. 

Our Speakers:

Sean Erik Andersen, PRA, RSgraduated from California State University, Northridge in 1998 and started working at Association Reserves in 1999. He opened our regional office in Orange County, Inland Empire and Coachella Valley in 2003. Sean has completed over 5,000 Reserve Studies and Capital Plans for properties ranging from large master planned communities, worship facilities, and small community associations to municipal buildings. He earned the Community Association Institute’s (CAI) Reserve Specialist (RS) designation and has the distinction of being RS #68. For many years, Sean has been an active member and instructor on the subject of Reserves for training courses offered by CAI.  

Fred Scaglione, CAFM, CCAM-LS, MAM, MSA graduated from the University of Akron in 1991, and received his Master's in Accountancy from the same university in 2008.  He also earned a Master's in Business Management from Walsh University in 2000.  After working for several national banks in Ohio, Fred moved to Palm Springs and began working for the HOA industry in 2014.  He began his career with Albert Management in 2016 as Director of Client Finance and Controller.  He earned is certification as a community manager, financial manager and large-scale manager through CACM, where he also is an instructor.   Fred has spoken at several conferences throughout the Coachella Valley, including the Desert Cities HOA Council.
